xDF3 DESFire No Longer Reading

I have a xDF3 in the top of my hand and all of a sudden nothing can read it. I was successfully reading it a couple weeks ago. I’ve had it for about a year. I’ve tried to scan it with android phones, my 2 Proxmark RDV4 readers, and some other readers that usually work quickly.

I’m stumped and think it may have gone out. I’ve tried all sorts of read angles and distances and get nothing.

I’ll mess with it more this weekend. Maybe I bruised my skin lifting weights or something. I also noticed I have a very light scratch from my dog, running directly over that part of my hand, right through the middle of the chip.

This does not look like a DESFire being scanned. Maybe an NTAG/Ultralight. SAK should be 20.

Yeah, I think it’s picking up the ntag in another part of my hand. My other Desfire is 20, like you said.

Likely collision issues.

Okay, I pulled my records from when I saved my UIDs and my NExT is UID: 04 B2 90 32 0A 54 80

Ignore that UID.
