I’m thinking about implanting my xG3 biomagnet between the 4th and 5th metacarpals (in the back of the hand, just below the final 2 knuckles). I know some of the beta testers used this spot and i’m curious to know they’re liking it now that they’ve had a couple months to get used to it. Is it a useful spot for lifting? Can you sense fields with the manget there?
I have mine there. It’s taking a while to settle down. It moved around more and for a longer time period than any of my other implants. My dermis is pretty thin in the area. But it is not moving around as much lately.
Personally I have not been able to sense anything. Even putting my hand next to the electric dryer power cord in every orientation and 360 deg around it. If I had felt anything, it was indistinguishable from the cord tickling the hair on the back of my hand.
From my experience, if you want sensing, it’s probably not the best place.
It will hold a small paperclip or two.
