Just wanted to update this if anyone has to deal with this around socal in the future.
I went to two different primary care doctors, and a hand surgeon and they all told me that insurance would almost certainly not cover it because it is an “elective surgery”…. (which is absurd as I really need an MRI)
So instead, I read up on the vasovagal reaction, prepped my mycology “still air box” for non-mycology work, and after 3 tries on one hand, and a single attempt on the other, they are out! (The hand image is a couple days post removal. I only just got the left hand one out)
(Also @tac0s/DTs is absolutely amazing for getting me replacements, I wish every business and community was as amazing as this one)
