High voltage → lower amps. @Satur9 discusses this waaaay back here. Tldr, you feel high amperage. Low amps with high voltage isn’t going to be noticeable.
Once you’ve got it, you’ll use it. Just maybe not how you expect. I used mine for testing solenoids and to tell if a material was magnetic. These days, mostly the latter.
