Xg3v2 installation today

I just had an xg3 v2 professionally installed by an experienced piercer about an hour ago.

It was put in the left ring fingertip / non dominant hand. But he went laterally and installed it diagonally across the lifting surface.. he said it would find its way where it wanted to be.

During the installation, the needle failed to release the magnet and it retracted out. He had me relax my hand and manually inserted it into the hole.

I am concerned he installed it too deep, and incorrectly, its across the finger in the middle of the muscle tissue, its not on top of the muscle tissue along the skin with a good lifting surface.

Also, there is no magnetic field, it wont even hold the Canadian coin it came with, is that because it takes time to get stronger or because of the installation position being in the center of muscle of tissue?

He drew the guide lines up and down but he pricked my finger kinda diagonally.. its completely surrounded by muscle tissue.. I cant even see it on the magnetic film.

I was going to manually push it into the ideal position before it heals..

It was installed straight across my finger tip, not vertically.. the magnet is dead center in my finger tip and it has zero magnetism..

I am just a little worried.

Which one?

This is concerning. I grabbed some film and was able to see my deep p5 xG3 v2 from 1/4" away. Did they sterilize the magnet by chance?

There’s a lot of this that is concerning being lateral. I think that is a pretty poor installation choice as I had this exact location and I had difficulty with the size of the xg3 running parallel to my finger

Have you used to the magnetic field viewer that came with the magnet?

I had it done at Alpha-Omega by an APP certified piercer, they were recommended by the guy who runs the APP, Paulo from Lemonade in Lafeyette Ca.

The piercer was Matte the owner of Alpha-Omega fairfield CA. He knows about haysworths. He is genwrally really experienced. He said putting it parallel to my bone would have been harder for pain management so he came from the side.

I think he is an old-school pad installer, I dont think he realized the xg2 v2 lifting surface wasnt supposed to be deep, it was along the whole length of the magnet.

I feel like he just inserted it across my lifting surface in my pad rather then just under the skin along the finger.

I think its pretty deep in the center of my finger. Does it get stronger or should I fish it out before it heals in?

looks visible on the film to me

Based on an email I recieved from you a few hours ago, it seems it was only very shortly before the installation that you decided on placement.

It seems like your research was limited and the decision was perhaps impulsive. How much prior research did you conduct? Did your installer perform a pre-consult and were you content with how they conducted their practice?

In any case, the field does seem to be visible on the viewing film in the picture you attached. It might take a while to be able to lift anything, especially if the implant is deep and your fingertip is swolen.

I researched for about 2 years but my installer refused to put it on the inside palm.. he said 4 oprions only: fingers, blade, back of hand or web..

I wanted below left inde finger inside palm for sleight of hand.. specifically

That looks like a magnetic field to me.. so it is in there. However, it might be extremely far from the surface of your finger pad;

The top finger is the more ideal orientation while the bottom finger shows what you likely have. The red line shows the representative distance I’m talking about between the magnet and the surface of your finger pad, which is about double what the more ideal installation might have.

Magnetic field strength drops according to the inverse cube law. Its strength drops off with the cube of the distance, meaning if you double the distance the magnetic force becomes eight times weaker (2³ = 8). That’s why every millimeter of tissue between the magnet and the object you’re wanting to attract / hold matters a lot.

Your only bet here is to wait for all swelling to die down and see if you can get things to stick to your finger. If performance is not to your liking, you may have to have it removed and try again. We do offer a resterilization service since you cannot autoclave magnets (the heat drastically weakens or completely destroys the magnetic properties).

I think it might have been a bad idea to do that with a glass v2.. however, if your finger magnet does not produce the effect you’d like after 2-4 months of healing, I can make you a customized resin xG3 v2 that should be much safer to put into the palm side. I can talk to your installer as well about it if you like.

This is just a test site to see if I would prefer an m1148a. I was hoping to avoid a scalpel instalation, the m1148a is roughly 30-35% stronger.

I was only posting because the experienced installer drew his guidelines north to south and poked me east to west. The magnet rests east to west.

I was concerned it was installed too deep, and that the installer was used to a different style. He said he prefers the ‘original biomagnets’.

Either way, I just talked to.him. he yelled at me.for messing with it. Says the depth and position is fine, and give it 4 weeks and come and see him.

He said it will migrate to where its happy.

I was just saying if I should pop it out and reposition it now, or go back to him now or fish it out.

I heard from many magicians about the limitations of these magnets before I popped one in.

Also, remember, I didnt watch him stick me. I looked away.. he showed me the guide lines he asked if I was ready and I looked away.. then the magnet came out with the needle and he had me relax and he popped it back in..

It was only bad for a few seconds..

He says to let it ride and if we need to fix it we will deal with it then.

If it doesnt do anything after it heals, like attract or lift anything at all, even a bottle cap, I will just have it popped out.. try out the other one..

I was only asking if its going to really migrate from.east west to north south or if I should manipulate it or remove it..

Some people seem to think I actually pricked myself and put the magnet in with my own hands.. I couldn’t watch..

I do not think it will rotate a full 90 degrees in the fingertip. In other locations, like P0 fascia tissue, this might be possible.. but the fingertips are made of different stuff. I don’t think it’s a good idea to try to force or manipulate it to move that way either.

As for popping it out, that’s up to you. I don’t think it’s a good idea but if you want to just abandon this experiment now and pop it out, be clean about it.. wash hands.. liberally use isopropyl alcohol to keep everything saturated while working it out. Cover the wound properly afterwards etc.

I am so freaking pissed he put it in wrong, but it does react to a paperclip but it barely holds 1.. Hopefully it ‘gets stronger’.. maybe instead if removing this one i would just add another in the correct orientation 5mm away..

I am so bummed and livid that I looked away during the installation and he poked me going the wrong way..

Its not the end of the world its just super annoying because I took the jab..

Give it time.. I hear it heals all wounds

I love it.. I will probably put them in all the fingers but I do wish it was quite a bit stronger..

I teach theater to k-3 and love simple coin and card tricks! I am being so lazy by using this method as a gimmick.. but man is it fun  who would have thought how much fun and joy a magnet in your finger would be??

I printed a ouiji board out of paper and the magnet controls a paperclip or the new Zealand coin you sent through the paper but it loses connection.. takes a lot of finesse to keep it tracking.

I would like a stronger PK or telekinesis effect even from like 1 or 2 inches away.. a positive attachment from waiving my hand over a coin or pulling a paperclip to my finger from an inch or two away.. Don’t know how realistic that is..

People use earth magnets on their legs to make matchsticks levitate..

I dont mind the broadside installation except its deep and the idea of the glass breaking that deep in the tip gives me anxiety.

I’m ready to put in more.. I am sold!

I have good news and bad news.

Good news: It will be stronger, no doubt!

Bad news: You’ve got to wait a while for that. Like probably a good two months. It seems your install was only 9 or so days ago? Yeah my xG3v2 (p1) strength was pretty weak overall until the 2 month mark, and wasn’t at full strength until month 3.

Worse news: This is a bit of guesswork, but I’d wager a fingertip install like this will take even longer to heal than my p1 or a similar install. Each person is different, and it depends how you treat the fresh implant, but the more you put pressure on the area the longer it will take, and a finger is there to put pressure on things. (People with more magnetic experiences, feel free to correct me).

I’d give it until the 1 month mark before you stick anything more than a paperclip to it, and still be super careful for a month or two after that.

Resin magnets are available now. A bit more resistant to bangs and bumps. Last I checked, all new xG3v1s are resin now, though you loose some lifting power there. Alternatively, you can always ask Amal nicely, and he might make a v2 in resin for you. He may or may not charge a bit extra, but it is worth it if you’re putting it in a finger or palm side.
