I have good news and bad news.
Good news: It will be stronger, no doubt!
Bad news: You’ve got to wait a while for that. Like probably a good two months. It seems your install was only 9 or so days ago? Yeah my xG3v2 (p1) strength was pretty weak overall until the 2 month mark, and wasn’t at full strength until month 3.
Worse news: This is a bit of guesswork, but I’d wager a fingertip install like this will take even longer to heal than my p1 or a similar install. Each person is different, and it depends how you treat the fresh implant, but the more you put pressure on the area the longer it will take, and a finger is there to put pressure on things. (People with more magnetic experiences, feel free to correct me).
I’d give it until the 1 month mark before you stick anything more than a paperclip to it, and still be super careful for a month or two after that.
Resin magnets are available now. A bit more resistant to bangs and bumps. Last I checked, all new xG3v1s are resin now, though you loose some lifting power there. Alternatively, you can always ask Amal nicely, and he might make a v2 in resin for you. He may or may not charge a bit extra, but it is worth it if you’re putting it in a finger or palm side.
