xLED Implantable Field Detector (newbie)

Oh okay i think its wierd that i dont know on which side the led is. Isnt that importat for the installment to know where it glows? i dont have access to an x-ray.

The LED should come out first but the factory isn’t exactly :100: on this though so sometimes it comes out backwards.

This is why I asked

You would be able to tell.

It SHOULD be LED first, but not always…
So you can play the odds, or look for alternatives.

X-ray is one, its easy, its clean, its clear

Since your answer is No to x-ray, we move on…

You could eject it onto a sterile field, inspect it, then have your installer either scalpel install or return to syringe then EO gas or similar.
But best to discuss with them safe sterilization after you eject it.

Have a read through this for someting to discuss with your piercer

forget that it says xMagic, the principle is the same for xseries…(except maybe the heat with an xBT???)

Okay i see since i dont think any doc woud let me use his xray for looking inside and i also dont want to take any risk, the only way woud be to eject it an try it out. I will talk to my piercer and ask him which from youre ways you told me woud be the best. Since he is an officaly partner piercer from i am robot he shoud know how to do it safe.

If you half way eject the xled during installation you can confirm, then pull the plunger back and have the piercer use a sterile tool to gently push it back into the needle, then install

It should be obvious, but just incase, ensure its Bevel up, so it acts like a cradle
