xSIID Blue no lights

Thanks to the help of @Satur9 I was able to get my NExT and xSIID installed. Both tags can be read and written to fine but I cannot see any lights coming from the xSIID. I tried reading from a phone and an ACS ACR122U

On the surface I can’t see any significant swelling although it is a bit bruised.

Could it be the bruising or did I just put a defective unit inside me?

Give it some weeks. It’s likely blood over the LED. Don’t worry.
