xSIID or NExT v2

Since I finally found a way to get a chip implanted semi near me, I’m looking to install a 2nd chip. I should have paid more attention to my installer as to the location of install. He wanted to install it in the fleshy bit of my hand opposite my thumb, where his is put. I figured if I pound on the desk, I might break it, so I went for the spot between my thumb and index finger of my right hand. The chip works fine, it’s just in a very awkward spot for my Sifely door lock to get a decent read, even with the RFID repeater (which works great when you figure out how it’s designed to work). So I’m looking for another chip. I like the LED, this time I’ll choose Red. If I flip my hand over I can use it to navigate as my thumb LEd is green.

Anyway, options seem to be another xSIID chip or the NExT v2. I need it to emulate a MiFair classic. Is one chip better than the other, or are there better options? Is there a chip out yet that lets me pretend it’s my Credit Card for tap to pay purchases yet? Many Thanks for the info.

Neither can emulate MIFARE Classic. You need an xM1 or xMagic. There are no blinky options for chinese grayware chips.

I have an xNT and xEM installed in P0 on each hand (the webbing between thumb and and index reader) and a couple of Siefly locks. I’ve found that first tapping the keypad to activate it also seems to power the NFC reader and I get better reads then if I just smash my hand against the lock. It sill takes a couple of tries sometimes though.

I recently had NExT v2 installed in P4, thinking it would be easier to present to both HID readers and my door locks. I’ve found it to actually be harder. I get better reads from the individual P0 implants than I do from the NExT v2 for either HF or LF readers. The NExT v2 still works, but it is less consistent.
