You need to tell me the Story of the Xled Keychains!

Picture please! :robot:

On the other hand, I keep forgetting keys, wallets, ID cards, that I somewhat compensate with implants.
However :point_right::mask: :point_left: is that I forget the most often.
No, thanks, I’m good - before you offer to suture it on my face…

possibly… dm me

Micro sd adapter for scale. I cut the stick short to fit into my wallet easily. The top with the led is exposed and you can tell which one is which based on the windings, more wire lower frequency less is the higher frequency.

I’m pretty sure I still have my old field detectors that came with my NExT. I don’t really use them so if you want em shoot me a dm.

Done

Not top 3? Top 5? I need to fix that

I honestly assumed top or top 2,

But I always know how often I’m wrong, so I gave myself a comfortable margin

I kept my xLED keychain on, well, my keys. Bad idea. The chip fell right out at some point. I still haven’t taken the plastic housing off my keychain.

Hey I spy a travel bug

I used to do geocaching

Until I went to move a travel bug across the country… on a trip I was going on… and I lost it mid trip… the shame

After being betrayed by @Eriequiet Calrissian, the heroes were handed over to Darth @Pilgrimsmaster. Xled was then selected as the test subject to be frozen alive in a slab of carbonite. As he was being dragged to the chamber by cyborgs, Princess @Coma informed xled that she loved him - to which he replied with the iconic line, “I know.” After being frozen xled was then given to @amal Fett who intended to deliver the man to @Satur9 the Hutt for a bounty.

I’m loving that story, I want more!

Nice eye! I missed that! My grandparents got me into geocaching and I loved it, especially driving a truck cross country. I still have email alerts for when people find some Firefly themed geocaches because I’m too obsessed with Firefly lol
I need to get back into that. Maybe I can find some while I’m in New Orleans.

There’s something I don’t like about the keychains, and it’s the logo and frequency stickers as those tend to peel off easily. I would prefer screen printing or a better adhesive.

I’m tempted to design my own dual frequency indicator keychain and get it 3D printed in clear resin… However, I don’t carry an xFD in my keychain as I’m trying to reduce the size of the stuff I that’s in my pockets.

And, I still need to try to see if I can test the Schlage S-480 and S-6800 to see in they work with implants while hoping not to get a lecture about the mark of the beast from the hardware store clerk… I’m in south america after all.

I just wrapped mine in two layers of clear packing tape and they seem to be holding up so far.

But I really like the bottle opener idea someone had.

That’s the most beat up xFD keychain I’ve ever seen! Anyone else have their xFD on their keyring? Photos appreciated!

I’ve kept mine in the box they came in so I don’t loose them. I’m trying to get rid of all my keys I cary with the implants I’ve gotten. I’m almost there with the new apartment being renovated and allowing me to install RFID locks. I have used them on the readers at my current apartment complex to figure out if they used LF or HF, also have used them when I go back to places with RFID readers. I cloned a school mates work tag to my hand and scared his boss in the morning. Only did it because I talked to his boss a few times before and felt it would be okay, and thankfully he thought it was both funny and scary! Although the bosses boss thinks the security isn’t good enough now thinking anyone can steal the “the codes” on the tags from sitting next to an employee. He wants to put locks with keypads on the doors now. I’m trying to get him to understand that the RFID locks are plenty secure, especially since they don’t deal with sensitive info or materials, but also plugging the fact that I can upgrade his security camera system for some free stuff under the table XD
I’ve got the business card sized detector though, and I keep that in my wallet. Any time I see a reader in the wild, I always check if it’s LF or HF. Like my buddies work, checked it first, came back with the keychain and found the right position, then sweet talked my buddy into me scanning his tag with the PM3 XD
I’m dum tired rambling again, sorry. Works got me really late on the hours where I’m that drunk like state of tired every night now.

That sounds like a good idea to make a discreet tool. If the LED doesn’t show too much, security watching cameras, if they are, would just think you’re drunk walking by and doing stupid stuff lol
Not sure how much that would help with pentesting, would probably be more efficient to follow an employee and bump into them with a reader in a satchel or something. But never know, the more tools you’ve got, the more situations you can handle efficiently.

That’s mine. It was with my car keys until now

Never used it to detect fields though

Still works

And here in direct sunlight
