yeah, I was dumb and obnoxious just 2 years ago, what helped me was podcasts and stuff that made me talk in a civilised way.

I have mad respect for you @ODaily. Your response to everything with Hector is not what I would have thought to do. I really do love how so many people I see in this community are so helpful and kind. It makes me happy.

Kid latched onto something, then latched onto something else. That’s what kids do.
Either that or “The Apex will be coming Real Soon™” wasn’t soon enough. Remember, a year is a thirteenth of a thirteen-year-old’s life. It feels like a mighty long time. Only we mature folks read that and think “Oh, that was quick enough” 10 years later

Maybe we should limit the forum to 13 and up only how old was Hector? 11?
Problem isn’t age but maturity, and they don’t always match
There are several other users if memory serves that are also very young, but you wouldn’t know from their posts

Hector had his issues, but we did the best we could with him. I really wish he’d have gone farther than he did. Perhaps the experiences he had will in some small way contribute to personal growth some day. Maybe. That said there are plenty of younger people (i’m not gonna put an exact age on it) that :
A.) Have the maturity to be here on their own.
B.) Stand a serious chance of becoming something impressive in their own right if they are just allowed to learn and grow.
I don’t think it’d be right to cripple there intellectual growth by cutting them off from opportunities.
Man, we’d have to throw out half the members.
