Any installers known of in Central AZ?

Failing a piercer most tattoo artists have autoclaves as well. Less likely options are any medical, dental or veterinary offices. They will have the equipment but unless you know them really well they probably won’t just autoclave stuff for you.

Hi, Im based in Tucson, I went to a local tattoo shop and convinced a guy who already had a magnet implant to put in my NExT chip. If you want i can find the guys shop and number for you. I paid him $40 if that works for you.

Any luck on finding a pro? I thought about it and I don’t think I could install a flexM1 myself

Nada for me, but I haven’t been looking in earnest yet. Working on moving apartments atm. I might start my local hunt later this month or early May.

Wisemagic Tattoo in Scottsdale did my flex! They also said I can refer people to them for implant installs  They are on the northwest corner of Scottsdale Rd and Shea

You’re awesome, thank you! I might just have to make the trip. What did it run you cost-wise?

Update on how it went? I’m looking for an installer for my apex flex in AZ, and this thread is my only lead so far.

I would also point you in the direction of @turbo2ltr (Phoenix I think).
Infact I’m pretty sure he wrote a recent post about piercing laws in Arizona…Wait one I’ll find it for you.

Well that was easy

She ended up doing self install IIRC.

I haven’t found one yet either but also I haven’t had time to really look.

Yes, I ended up having someone I know and trust do it who did plenty of research with me beforehand. We wouldn’t attempt a flex, but we got two capsules put in “easily” enough.

Thanks for the update everyone. Unfortunately it’s looking like I’ll either have to self install or travel out of state. :frowning:

I also need an installer in Arizona, I’m too squeamish to attempt a self-install. Any piercer that wants practice would be fine with me. It seems there is a high demand for a professional installer in Arizona, and I would be glad to help anyone become confident enough to take that position.

I have a Titan implant that I would like placed in my finger, and two flex implants that I would like placed in either forearm. These installs would be more complex than the X-series capsule implants, but I think it would be great practice for anyone interested in body modification.

Seeing as I failed at installing my xG3 v2, I will need to find an installer. Kinda want to just walk back into Wisemagic and see if I get lucky. Pretty wild there isn’t a well known installer in AZ considering Phoenix is like the 5th largest city in the country

how would you plan to sterilize? just a good antiseptic clean by the installer?

I tried to sterilize the best I could and it looks brand new but I am definitely going to have the installer sterlize everything again with their preferred method so there are no issues

I’m curious, would an autoclave ruin an xG3?

Yes. Never autoclave magnets.

You ask to send it off to amal for resterilisation.

Another option that is more on the diy side is to clean it well, brush it and then submerge it in 70% isopropyl alcohol. If there is some chlorhexidine in there its even better.
