I had managed to never see those blue messages until recently when the forum promoted me to member. They’re kind of noisy visually. I might add them to my filter.
I use uBlock Origin to filter elements from sites (along with uMatrix).
It has become an addiction.
God I hate youtube, I can’t correctly block their shitty consent popup, I don’t see it but it stops the music. Urgh. I will get it to work one day tho’, on some lonely weekend night…
I view YT videos through Invidious instances. I never see any of the YT crud.

Well it’s the singular like that upgraded me - and that’s why I cast it, too. I didn’t know it came with a whole bunch of extra notifications I was able to live without before. Special member treatment 
Yeah I did a self install xnt at 17 years old and just self installed me xsiid with blue led at 20 a few months ago. At the time I think I was the youngest with it but a year later I think a 15 or 16 year old managed to get one.

Well, there is that. But the first thought that went through my mind was: when the stupid Google robots make the next pass at the forum, if I was Amal, I wouldn’t want that sentence indexed verbatim out of context.

I’m 18 and I have the xLED (I was 17 when I installed it though). I made sure everything was completely sanitized and did a self-install. I didn’t tell my parents till well after it was healed, and while they were confused, they actually thought it was pretty cool. I have a few tattoos that I’ve done myself so they weren’t thrown completely off guard.
Ah well, there go my hopes
