Oh…
Yeah I know about Discord. It’s just that it’s also a common noun.
As for “Snap”, well, I only know the packages ![]()
All in all, it didn’t make much sense to me.

.I kinda thought you were talking about a thanos infinity gauntlet type snap
And that all of the teens were to be dusted,
I’m wasn’t that upset
This was an interesting read, now I dont have any modifications to my self as of yet (money and then covid) but would being a religious organisation offer some protection if certain procedures by trained individuals under a “religious manner” protect those who did the procedure from conservative legislation?
Such as the case of Dr Evil being imprisoned in the uk for modifications to individuals that consented?
Say if someone was trained and then.approved by a governing body within the church and the person who wanted the op was part of the church?
As if you look at Rabbis in the UK only consent of both parents is need to perform infant circumcision and that itself is purely a religious cosmetic op.
This just the rambling of someone with minimal research at this point on this topic but I can see that having a religion may protect the belief and practice of modifying the human body.
I dont see why anyone should be penalised socially or by the justice system when consent has been given and I do hope that a recognised church in England where i live would be amazing as certain things I would like done can get the operator arrested for just doing what the customer has asked.
Also it kinda sounds funky having a marriage in a transhumanist church, I can just picture some couples using their implants to sign a digital marriage document or touching fingers when they have opposite facing magnets to each other to connect ![]()

Hello and welcome to the forum!!
Yes, it would.
That was actually the whole origin of this thread.
Although the Satanic Temple is a religious institution which already does provide help in that sense.
Nope.
This kind of “help” would only work within United States.
What happened to Dr Evil was already “above the law” as it is. They attempted everything they could to help him in UK, but the council just disregarded everything and ruled out of their own personal morals.
Sort of. Because you can also be an atheist and get to another atheist doctor and pay to get your child circumcised here in UK.
I understand what you meant with this example, but from a legal viewpoint it is moot in UK:
There isn’t any mechanism here to allow a religious institution to legalize something which is already illegal.
Unfortunately not “anywhere”.
Within US, yes. Because they do have laws for that.
But within US we also already have another religious institution which can help in the same manner.
Outside of US we sure could benefit from an institution lobbying for our rights.
Although, personal informed opinion, such institution would be much better received if it was not religious.
Gotcha, it’s both a blessing and a shame that there isn’t a huge amount of religious blessing, but honestly I would love a church of Transhumanism in england for sure.
Be a nice place for groups to gather and discuss items over a cuppa and show of their implants and help educate via workshops.
If I had the money to just buy some property I would be right on that but alas money is not something I’m familiar with too often ![]()
But being stuck in Thanet, Kent, I would love to see some form of transhumanist safe space in the future to discuss stuff as I get nervous in small gatherings of less than 4 or 3 and having a recognised space across the country would just be amazing, even if it’s just a Café at the beginning, I guess kinda like Gaming or Geek retreats but for this kind of community (although maybe a raspberry pi machine with a buttload of games could be good too in the corner
)
Me too! Just think not using the “religious” note would make it be better welcomed. ![]()
We could do with a few more Yellow pins around UK, though. The only one still there is unresponsive.
But hit me on a DM if you fancy. I’m always up for getting people together, promoting research, hosting couch surfers…
Maybe we can get UK peeps together once this quarantine is off.
There’s no need to start huge. Just keep adding momentum.
Would definitely love to be able to join some UK communities, I still havent got any body mods or implants due to money and time (I did plan to but then COVID happened so got a quest 2 instead)
Closest thing I got to body mods is I’ve started dead stretching last week still on 1mm xD
Also there has gotta be way more people out there and I wonder if they are just silent users who have bought of DT but just never visit the forums.
Gotta say despite not having any mods I’ve been sharing DT products and posts to friends and family and I’ve had some interest and few family members that turn out to be conspiracy theorists and think I’m perpetuating Bill Gates plan to track everyone ![]()

But yh I’ll definitely hit you up with a message at some point, but atm I better get on with finishing my sales post for facebook as partner is getting suspicious now that I’ve been typing on my phone when the listing is on my laptop ![]()
All that matters is the interest, imho. Not like we’re an exclusive club. ![]()
Nah, we got our fair share of UK based users who’re fairly active. Just not everyone waves flags around.
Also bet some overseas folks could drop in if this grows enough. ![]()
And good luck with the conspiracy theorists! ![]()
