Turns out phone holders make excellent adjustable/posable NFC reader mounts, now if I can just get it to stop beeping on every read

that’s pretty sweet actually,
for the beep, you can silence in the barbarian way… just pull the shell apart and either semi or permanently disable the buzzer
I usually mount mine under the desk
