Your experience is very very similar to mine. From 5 years ago. Take a look at the picture (taken today), and you’ll see a short blue line (implant) and a long blue line (bone). I think we’re in almost the same spot. Mine moved there rather suddenly and painfully, then just settled down and became normal for the last 5 years. Maybe it itches sometimes, but no biggie.
I’d almost bet that A. there’s some kind of anatomical structure that makes that a natural resting place, and B. You’ve gotten it all irritated and it just needs time to chill out. Some Ibuprofen may accelerate this.
