Not quite on par with Stroggification but I suspect that I’m not the only one who would sign up for this if it was available:

I mean, yes please:

Whoa, that setup is insane! Looks perfect for some serious tank battles. War Thunder or WOT would be epic on that rig.

I got Gabened… With a game that I really wanted to buy when it came out…

I was bound to end up here getting implants under my skin from the very beginning, wasn’t I?

I’m back to playing Titanfall 2.

And I finished all the puzzles in The Tallos Principle. Although the philosophy in that game is not my cup of tea and it’s targeted to people who are in box where I don’t even fit.

ā€˜soma’…. life changing…

ff7 fully modded. playing ā€˜ā€˜new threat mod 2.0’’… tasty

all the ā€˜ā€˜find the cat’’ games! addictive…

escape academia - nifty 3 part escape room game.

a way out - best local coop ever….

lovers of a dangerous spacetime.

any of these is a perfect way to waste an evening.

I completely get what you’re saying about Starfield. A lot of the criticism online seems overblown, especially from people who haven’t actually played it. Approaching it as an RPG rather than a space sim makes a huge difference—you get a lot more depth in quests, story, and world interactions than the ā€œexplore space endlesslyā€ crowd expects.

I’ve noticed the same with performance: minor bugs here and there, but nothing that takes away from the experience. And the side quests and lore really make it feel like there’s always something new to discover. The ship mechanics and dogfighting are surprisingly fun too, especially when you combine them with planetary exploration.

It’s also interesting that you’re trying Baldur’s Gate 3 after Starfield. Jumping between these RPGs with different styles is always fun; it really shows how varied the genre can be. I’m sticking mostly with Starfield for now, but I might give BG3 a deeper look later too.

Overall, I’d say Starfield deserves way more credit than it’s getting online—especially from people expecting a pure space sim rather than a full-fledged RPG.

I’m with you on it. I didn’t follow the game very much when it first came out, and only started playing it about 6 months ago, but I very much enjoyed it. I like the overall narrative and even months later I can remember and do some light reminiscing about some of the sub-plots and story arcs. That’s only true for a few other games (Skyrim, Mass Effect, Cyberpunk), at least for me.
