got this done by the lovely Mara at blue diamond tattoos. in the process of healing but ill post more pics when its done.
also, update to xraying glow powder, im gonna do that after im done here cause i dont want to use some glow powder with xraying and damage it and then run out. so in 3-4 weeks ill be doing it.
Your body so do what you want, but just to clarify we did a hard bite without breaking the skin to use as a stencil so we could clean it off and then cut it out with a scalpel. At grindfest we were really trying to figure out how to actually have her break skin and do it directly from there for the vibes, but even with prophylactic antibiotics and a chlorhexidine mouth wash the infection risk is still astronomical. Iām a very significant risk taker but itās simply irresponsible to endanger yourself in that way, so I strongly recommend not breaking skin directly. Your an adult and can make your own decisions but sometimes you just need to take someoneās advice for your own safety.
Started with blue in the middle. (No picture of that sorry) Blue decided to leave, so I added aqua. The next week green came to join, added some more blue. And now one week after that, blue is gone againā¦ā¦ to be continued.
And a pinky update because why not, itās healed up nicely at this point. Iāll come back to it someday.
I always come through. Donāt quote me on that, but anyways I have xrayed some glow powder, more specifically, some chunks that came from my glow scar in the process of healing, so I donāt have to waste any powder.
This is the average of before xrays, subtracted from the average during the xrays. As we can tell, there is little if any change, indicating minimal phosphorescence with this exposure, which was 1/10th a second, with a 60kv, 2.3ma tube.
This small clip is what i recorded of the xray process. You can see the xrays hit the phone, but no change in the powder.
This is part of the resultant xray image (below) compared with a finger xray(above), the xray stopping power is pretty similar to the bone(these images were adjusted so that they would have identical white and black levels in terms of xrays), so overall, I would conclude that tentatively, there is minimal physical risk with xrays and glow scars, although glow scars may act to obscure bone or other things which are behind them.
