I am so damn pissed! 🤬

God this whole thing makes me happy that my boss can be sensible at times (he is not a good person and treats us like shit but he does use common sense)

I am known in the workplace for messing withing things and pretty much being a wannabe Pen tester. Ill show up to the managers office some days and go
“hey i found out how to access and control all of our security cameras, please change your password from “password””
or
“hey i can now control that door with my implant, how? you leave the master for lying around and i cloned it”

I’m lucky my boss sees this as a good thing and not just fire me or make me remove the fob clone from my hand (he actually quite likes seeing me use it)

Well, for a change of tone, and just to make y’all jealous: boy am I glad I work for a company where everybody is aware of my shenanigans and perfectly okay with them, most of them are pretty interested in the hows and whys and what-fors of my implants, my boss regularly asks me what I’ll implant next, or what company door I plan on modifying next (with his permission of course ) and even tells me I’m welcome to take a few days off to go see my installer in Helsinki, rest up afterwards, or avoid hitting the workshop for a while if it’s a big implant job.

So there :stuck_out_tongue:

i’m always jelly of you rosco, your auto turn on office with the main door, foot passwords and all the shenanigans i have read about.

Yeah my workplace is awesome. Every morning when I get to work I can’t believe how lucky I am. Hell, my boss even agrees to let me test DT chips with the company’s devices  I really told him what it was for and all, and he said “sure, if we can help, go right ahead”.

You forgot Captain Hurl.

He’s not doing it on purpose  Was actually. He seems to be getting over it, seeing as though I seem to look and act more or less human-like despite those horrid things under my skin.

It occurs to me @darkdragon885

You never gave me specifics, I only did a little digging on my end, so I could be wrong (there’s your Opening for plausible deniability)

But unless I’m mistaken this employer actively works with microchips, thus they shouldn’t fear the boogey man since they know how this shit works

Ok so update. I had decided I wasn’t gonna get the implants taken out so I sent an email to the CEO as a last ditch effort on monday and got a call back from HR thursday morning asking me to come back to work. They are asking me to sign some kind of waiver so I still have to see what that’s gonna say. We will see what happens from here.

Are you saying they asked you to stay at home until you got the implant taken out?

That was the original set up. They saw me as a security risk.

I didn’t realize they had acted on their threats. That’s outragous…

O there was no ‘threat’ the day I had the meeting with hr they sent me home.

Honestly, if things don’t work out with them, they really need to be outed as the stupid and technically inept company that it is.

You’re literally doing precedent.
Your case was my flipping point to decide joining / supporting the church.
I was con- before!

I can’t think of many companies where chip implants would present a legitimate security risk. I mean, how would they even? Exfiltration of secret data? You could probably just use your phone for that. You described a part of your work in the titan thread - and I am not really sure that warrants this kind of bumblefuckery. Jeez

I’m very conflicted, I wouldn’t want to work there as I feel the vibe would be tainted

But I also would absolutely refuse to concede

Refusing to concede in the US means lining a lawyer’s pockets. That’s why people concede.

I don’t even mean legal…

I mean quitting preemptively, because they are asshats,

But that still gives them a win

Well he’s at-will. So he loses in both cases, whether he quits or he’s let go.

My thought was it seemed to be HR that was the problem. From what my manager told me he got a call from the CEO, and my manager had my back so if the CEO actually called to find out about me AND my direct manager had my back then I think that speaks well of the company as a whole.
