Says it cannot be rendered due to codecā¦ im using chrome tho
Infinite loading on Firefox. Probably HEVC.
Works on Brave
Just incase its any different for you
Itāll probably end up where it āwantsā anyway, but keep coralling, and smashing back the prenatals and Jelly (Jell-O )
My browser of choice is Vivaldi. Itās Chromium, but way faster for everything that I do.
wow yeahā¦ taping it in place until it encapsulates is a good idea
How has that location worked for you? Do you mostly scan with phone or desktop? Anything you would have done differently with the location and/or install in hindsight?
@GrimEcho The location is perfect, I couldnāt think of a better one and wouldnāt change it if I could. And Iām not just saying that, genuinely glad I ended up switching my plan from forearm to P3.
I scan a lot with both desktop and my phone and itās been great with different orientations on different phones and readers. My installer did a perfect job (their first flex ever as well), I would just make sure they donāt try to enter from the knuckle side to make healing easier.
I was a little skeptical of back of hand just because there is a lot going on with blood vessels, tendons, and bones, but itās been really great, zero problems, complaints, discomfort, or inconveniences.
Iād highly recommend it.
About 6 months photo:
Decided to upload a video of my whole process for my own documentation and perhaps for the benefit of others. Canāt say that I am by any means a professional or that you should do what I did, but maybe someone will get some use out of a video of my self install.
If anyone knows if there is somwwhere else appropriate I should share this, let me know.
Nice job documenting it. There is a dedicated thread for install videos and such here:

Also welcome to the club
Filled my other P0 today. Another self-install.
Left (off) hand is shaaaakyyyy whew. Was sure to go hard on the lube this time.

Dumb question.
I have a whole crapton of DT glasses in me.
All self installedā¦ all no lube.
Only reason is I had not heard of using lube till relatively recently.
Dumb question - what lube am I supposed to use???
Surgical Lube
All the x-series have lube on the needle already. Itās called Dow Corning medical fluid. The large custom needle for flex installation doesnāt but those products come with a sachet of surgical lube.
Thatās why I didnāt see much of a difference when I tried on my last x-
Is there any scalpel shape that works better than others for us?
Iāll have to remove an x- soon (I can video it if there is interest)
For x-series I really recommend trying the saline injection method. Basically a doc injects saline USP into the encapsulation pocket with the implant. Then basically they inflate it, remove the needle, and kind of push it out with the saline like a pimple.
Seriously gonna make an example install video out of that. Perfectly done. Perfectly filmed. Perfect.
Do they have an insta or something I can reference on the video I wanna make?
Ha, Iām late to the party, But, I was going to say, I think that was the smoothest flex install I have seen.
He did an awesome job
Worth it
He looks angry/ annoyed in his profile pic
