I’m happy to report that after a day of strenuous rock climbing, I honestly barely felt that the implant between my knuckles was there at all.
This can probably stay where it is. It’s perfectly functional regardless of it not being in the ideal/desired location.
I’ll continue to monitor it, but I have high hopes that all is OK.
And you’re absolutely right. I can get it taken out. Or maybe even have a second one in the real P1 location since it’s not likely to even be close to where this one is at the P1 knuckles! Lots of future upgrade options.
