Limited Quantity of xBT Available!

You all keep asking for these so we’re bringing them back temporarily.

If you want an implant that can take your temperature, check out the xBT! It’s an LF RFID implant that runs at 134 kHz so you’ll need a Flipper, Halo Scanner, Proxmark, or other pet reader to use it.

Hmm tempting. Is there any information on the accuracy of the sensor?

I kind of want one, since they’re limited and they unlock a cool new feature, but at the same time I’m not sure the novelty is worth it to me at the moment. It’s not like I often check my temperature anyway. (But if I had one of these, I might.)

It’s definitely a novelty. I don’t think I’ve scanned mine in about 7 months.

Mine is decently accurate under my arm lower bicep. It’s about 4* off of actual

Looks like there’s a little in the datasheet:

Also, anybody know what’s going on with the BeUno? Is it still in beta?

There’s also this thread.

Huh… I still have one in the box on a shelf here I keep forgetting about. Probably never going to actually have it put in, don’t really need to have my temp taken.

I very frequently forget my xBT exists. Mine is somewhere under my left armpit.

What I think would be an interesting idea for it, and potentially an untapped market; Male fertility.

An xBT inserted in the Scrotum to monitor the temperature

Sperm motility is directly related to temperature

It could be a contender for this

Or this, which would be a practical piercing.

I am no longer going to play with someone else’s flipper…

Don’t forget step 2, where the person holds a Halo up to their junk to measure the temperature discreetly

Me too, and it reads really easily.
The install was easy…for me.
Not sure about for the installer!?

Thin and stretchy skin doesn’t make it super easy.

The xBT was never on my list, but as the opportunity was there, I thought why not, Plus I have a flipper so its easy to read.

AND

there are a limited quantity, so, if I didn’t get one this time, I may never get a chance to get one again

is that a euphemism?

Or less discreet, The Halo reader has a hole, so you could “Tea-Bag” the reader.

It would be like Tea-Bagging an Angel, and who hasn’t wanted to do that…Oh, is that just me?

Once I remember where in the vast land of my armpit it’s located it reads like a charm. Usually only under a few degrees than true temperature.

Same - it bothers me the least of any of my implants, which already don’t bother me much at all, and when they do it’s never the implant’s fault.

Highly recommend anyone on the fence grab one… Even though I rarely use it, just testing it now made me remember that it is pretty fun… and also a cool party trick. :sunglasses:

Who said it had to be discreetly?

How does it work with the flipper?
Is it stock or a special app?
