Lodestone PICO announcement!

I’m 100% down to help out once my Titan heals. I’ve made a few small apps for the Flipper and I bet I could cobble something to spit specific frequencies out of the GPIO.

Sweet! I have some ideas for flipper-lodestones but I need to know the flipper’s limitations first and I really haven’t had much time to mess around with it yet.

Hey Patreons, check your Patreon messages, I’ve sent a bunch of news and questions regarding your purchase lately.

If my package reaches you before the cases I’ll be rolling

Actually… the cases might be very close

Hehe, they are here! I’ll be sending the color choices on the Patreon chat so you can choose and I can start assembling.

So far everything single person has chosen a different color somehow. It’s cool, this way I get to see how they look like once assembled

Really weird, I got the swag before I got the item.

That’s my problem - I’m not active on pattern - it scares and confuses me.

Is it shipped from France? Continental or DOM/TOM?

Yup

@XEMON how’s the DIY PICO? Did you play around with it? I can’t remember if you have ZINC or not, if you do didi you fond the sensitivity tests?

While the first batch is being delivered I will spend some time working on the PICO specific features in ZINC so that things are a bit cleaner for the first testers. I’ll also release Bubble Worlds I think.

Got a few hours playing with the PICO.
The first one broke in my bag, it didn’t have a case, and the inductor ripped the pads off the PCB … so i made another one

No ZINC yet, soon™ … using a sound wave generator app to drive it right now.
I have 2 xG3V2 in the inner side of my wrist, so its really not optimal for sensing. I very occasionally feel a slight buzz right above 200Hz at full power, but by the time i think i feel it, it’s gone …
But if i hold some soft dot magnet between my finger tips, i can definitely feel them vibrating! Its a lot of fun to play with. Cant wait to get the ZINC to complement it!

Let me be clear, my lack of sensation with the implant have nothing to do with the actual PICO and everything to do with the placement of my implants.

Ah, I think for an xG3 lower frequencies would actually be better but the PICO is less powerful under ~100Hz :man_shrugging: are you planning on getting one in your hand? I know the choices are very limited lately with the v1 and titan not available :sob: Really bad timing for the picos actually

I mean yes but also the PICO as its name suggests is tiny. It’s meant to be small, practical and universal but not particularly powerful. If The Lodestone project keeps going the plan is to have more advanced wearables for different usecases.
