Remember that time we made an implant out of someone’s ashes? We’ve decided to go ahead and offer the service to everyone.
If you missed it, we made resin implant with a mix of ashes and glow powder upon request. You can see the process here. It was a great project which was definitely a step out of the usual routine. Which has given us the perfect excuse to re-launch the Lab category. Remember these shenanigans?Let’s get weird.
I am really interested in the memora implant. It is a great project to express deep love and attachment to a loved one. I was just wondering if it is possible to make it in a slightly bigger capsule ( eg. 4mm diam. and 15 mm length? ) and to cover it extra with medical silicone? Of course it is not possible to place it yourself then with the device because it is to big and should be placed by a medical professional. I was just wondering if this could be an option.
Resin would be enough. In theory you could put it through one of our 4G custom needles with an appropriate plunger.. or just remove the needle and (using sterile gloves) place it into the pocket. A professional would be very highly recommended to avoid contamination and infection.
