Mifare DESFire Flex implant does not work on Honeywell readers

Is there an alternative to the flex implant that might be stronger?

If it has to be DESFire, then not that I am aware of.
BUT
There is a new version of the FlexUG4 that is getting a new antenna design (not ready yet) But it COULD be a good option.

If it is NTAG compatiable, then I would HIGHLY RECCOMEND tge FlexNT, no guarantees, but, my experience, it is acgreat little performer

Yes, I also had readers with a standard keypad. However, since we don’t use a PIN, I had them replaced with the 2-button version (arm/disarm), as the “normal” keypads didn’t work for me either.

Sad to hear that it doesn’t work with readers with keypads.

The readers without keypads even work quite well with the implant without the stickers.

Where have you placed the sticker?

I tested several spots on the reader. It worked best between 1-2 and 4-5. It also worked with the sticker there, but only 2 times out of 20 attempts. The signal is strongest on the left side of the reader. (Tested with the X Field Detector)
