Another weird one, from Grindfest this year:

I had a piece of my (estranged) genitals encapsulated and implanted into my finger.

Any Zelda fans?

~3.5hours in total, linework and shading then a short lunch and finish with coloring. Like 4 or 5 shades of blue, some yellow and green. The lighter colors really bring out the angry but it’ll look better once healed.

I think darker skin is also more susceptible to keloid scarring which I imagine helps with the final effect, which does look pretty awesome

I’m also betting it’s an extensive process of carefully re-scarring over long periods of time.

yep. especially when you consider that scab-formation occasionally distorts the intricate patterns one may have had in mind.
