Hi Folks - Got my NEXT, now I’m cool. I’m encountering some challenges using the PM3 for reading it; and my searching hasn’t been clear on what stage I’m screwing up. We are implant + 7 Days currently, on top of wrist/forearm.

  • LF Tune & HW Tune while placing wrist above coil & pad respectively, every orientation I could think of. Voltage never shifts appreciably, compared to cards (15+V), or fobs (1-2V).

Am I just never getting orientation correct? Does the lack of Tune voltage shifts suggest I should be looking into Different antenna to make it easier?

Appreciate any tips - I have tried lf search & basic auto as well, consistently not finding the NeXT.

You can try lf em 410x reader -@ to see if you can find a spot where it can read the preprogrammed EM41xx ID. 7 days may still be too early from what I’ve read here.

Couple weeks seems more typical. I was a bit surprised the xBT picked up so easily, given the same timeline.

But I wanna borg now!

Concur

2 weeks is what is normally recommended

Dont forget, you can pick up the PM3 and place that on your implant rather than trying to contort yourself onto the PM3
