Question about Mifare compatibility

Greetings from Sweden!

I have been looking into getting a chip for our access systems at work. The security people tell me we use Mifare and that they will have no problem assisting in registring the UID of compatible chips for me so there’s no need to clone something.

Currently we’re using coins and cards at the office.
I scanned both with TagInfo and this is what they came back as.

Coin:
Mifare Classic: MF1S50
Full name: MF1S5037
UID format: XX:XX:XX:XX
ISO/IEC 14443-3 (Type A) Compatible
ISO/IEC 14443-2 (Type A) Compatible

Cards:
Mifare Classic: EV1 MF1S70
Full name: MF1S703xX/V1
UID format: XX:XX:XX:XX
Mifare Classic Compatible
ISO/IEC 14443-3 (Type A) Compatible
ISO/IEC 14443-2 (Type-A) Compatible

I’ve had some trouble identify what DT products may be suitable for this, if someone more knowledgeable could give me some pointers or suggestions I’d appreciate it greatly.

S50 means mifare classic 1k. S70 means 4k. You’d be looking at a flexm1 or xm1. Unfortunately both have been out of stock for a bit.

You can see as well that your tags are 4 byte UID, same as the DT devices.

Hello @scorpion and thank you for the answer! So among the DT lineup the flexm1 and xm1 are the two viable options for Mifare for this application?

We’re working on getting both back in action ASAP… stay tuned

Hello Amal,
The smiley means that it will not be long ? Because I look at Dangerous things every day since my registration.
