A “simple” warranty claim, but allowing an exchange for a different product, Just that little bit extra makes all the difference.
I just put a 5 star on this thread because I genuinely think the company and customer support is awesome.
I started to be interested in biohacking/ implants About 3-4 years ago and I was packed with a 1000 questions. The community helped to answer those questions but the staff did too! Even Amal himself answers one of my post and I even had the opportunity to exchange a couple of email privately with him at that time
Today I made a mistake. I bought the wrong bundle. I wanted the green xssid but I bought the green xLED instead.
When I found out my mistake I sent an email to know if my order could be canceled.
I kid you not. 45 minutes later , my order was cancelled. IT WAS AT 3 AM!!!
I GENUINELY LOVE THE COMPANY
THX FOR EVERYTHING
Quick lil thank you to @tac0s @amal
You do an amazing job
Another simple but still appreciated example of customer service
I think those 2 recent post are an amazing representation of DT’s response:

Just another day in the office for DT staff
Agreed
Just look at the 80+ messages above
Easy upsell, but thats not how DT / Amal rolls
Do I even need to justify the reason for including this here!?
Another one (From the DT Club, but enough for context shown below)
I haven’t voted, I have not yet purchased (I bought a repeaters set) but plan to in a few weeks.
My feedback so far is the products are confusing and it’s not clear what is compatible with what. The bundles seem like good deals, but they are difficult to buy due to the learning curve with the products and the inflexiblity of the included items.
That said, the forums are an incredible resource and seeing the CS responses here has instilled a lot of trust.
Thanks for your feedback… it’s been a long running issue that we are in the middle of trying to improve. The steep learning curve and variety of features, options, and inter-compatibility issues make it very difficult to convey in an easy to learn way, but we’re definitely looking forward to launching improvements in the coming weeks.
I think Amal only says these things in the hope somebody will post a positive review in this thread. (I guess it worked…again)
The outstanding customer service is just a facade, in reality, he is just a whore for hearts
Im late to the party. But i hold dt in high reguard… As most of us did . I came here with no knowledge of this technology.i seen some guys ted talk but that was about it. I had a look at the chips. And thort wow their expensive. So i shot a message to dt about are animal chips the same. amal personaly took the time to contacted me. I was star struck. The ted talk man wanted to talk to little old me. … And he went into great depths to explain in terms i understood what it was all about. And i made my first purchase. Amal ,dt and the community have been so supportive of my impulsive crazy ideas. And i hope to provide the same level of support that they provided me “11/10 Savage Service! - Chimpo Mcdoodle.”
For sake of leaving a review of my purchase back in '23, had no tattoo. Had never messed with body mods to begin with. Had an earring at 10 that got infected and that was it.
Skip to 2023, I’m now 30(ish?), got my Flipper Zero in when it released a new batch, super excited. Taught myself some stuff. Great stuff. What else can I do? Google search after Google search led me to DangerousThings and was… intrigued, to say the least.
Before I knew it, had the NeXT in my cart and convinced my wife this is what I wanted and if she’d let me, I’d also have to buy this push to start system for my car.
Done exactly that and everything went super, have yet to have any complaints about the actual chip itself, the way to find a partner capable of implanting the chip on the website? Amazing.
I was incredibly scared of the needle when I first saw it. After it got placed however? I wish I had an unlimited supply of cash to keep placing more, it was an adrenaline rush.
Now to get to the reason why I truly appreciate DangerousThings and what they do;
I had reached out to some support type email, hoping to get an answer about a custom project. Never been active on the forums, done almost no research on how to approach these guys, I just sent an email hoping they’d know something, willing to help or whatever.
I had Michael respond to my request nearly immediately, maybe if anything half a day later. At most. My request wasn’t something they could immediately do, but something they’d get back with me at. Not knowing DangerousThings and the team, I assumed that was about it. I’d probably not hear back.
I heard back. Now my “custom work” is 16 emails back and forth in, stuff is in the mail and it’s actually happening? Absolutely insane and exciting and something I wasn’t expecting out of an email I sent out of curiosity.
Absolutely all the kudos and stars to DangerousThings and everyone involved. I’m glad I finally registered on the forums and reading some of the projects people have tinkered with, the things y’all discuss, it’s been a fun past couple of days reading.
The words say it all.
CONTEXT
Follow the link, or accept the following.
- Hospital wont MRI patient because of implant
- Patient back and forth with hospital
- Amal frustrated, calls hospital to discuss
Above and beyond good service
While I’m not around a whole lot, I still love to come here and learn about the cool new shit you guys are inventing, implanting and installing into the Cyborgs of Today. As a company, I have been treated well with professional touches you wouldn’t expect from a niche somewhat under the board (but still always above it somehow, too…) outfit. I am always impressed with the amount of knowledge you guys are willing to share and I applaud you for having what I think is the most rad company in existence. All hail to the 'Borg Builders!
So Amal just got kudos for great service, now Tac0s wants in on the game…
This may or may not belong here too. (@Pilgrimsmaster feel free to bonk me if not.)
Summary
Product operating but suboptimal.
Rather than a “it works, live with it”
It was the comment above
~ “Send it back and we’ll send you a brand spanking new one”
