I agree, my write up was much more boring “Foreign body in hand” and There are 2 linear radiopaque structures measuring approximately
1.3 cm each projected between the first and second metacarpals as well
as the second and third metacarpals. Correlate clinically.

The explanation those xrays got is so much more interesting than basically “There are things here”

Isn’t it? I work in medicine, and reading the interp from the radiologist was almost as interesting as the X-rays themselves!

I suspect that you told the radiologist exactly what you wanted out of the xrays. And that they respect you enough to put the extra work into it, instead of just saying “there are foreign bodies in hand”.

Highly dependent on provider. No direct communication with the radiologist, just the orders I asked my PCP to place.
