If unsure. Unplug igition barrel and check continuity using a volt meter in the on and off position. Also check for any resistance. (Some install crude resistors to make hotwiring a ballake.)

I meant to include this in the OP:
The signal line goes to a few relays for turn signals/brake/plate lights.
One ignition line goes straight to the ECU.
The other ignition line energizes the engine kill switch.
Never would have occured to me to check resistance there, I didn’t realize that was even something they did to try to prevent hot wiring.

That’s an awesome system. Does it work with gloves on?
If so, could be an idea to add a kill switch on second scan maybe with a delay timer that the user could program (in some countries car & bike jacking at gunpoint is common. Such a delayed kill switch would give enough time for them to drive away so you’re out of danger, but close enough that you could walk to the end of the street to get your bike back)
Mine does. I put a tag in the glove so i didnt have to take them off… if i get stoped . Its just turn the bike off and run away… leaving them confused … but as its customisable. That is ez enuff to add…
