I was restless at the hospital yesterday, so I went around visiting the place since I had nothing better to do, and found this really creepy poster for dental hygiene ca. 1950 or something:

If I was a young child looking at this at the dentist’s office, this reads as “Use the toothbrush like so, otherwise you’ll suddenly experience a terrible seizure, followed by projectile vomiting, and nasty blobs will form at the back of your throat and choke you to death”.

I can see how Finnish children could be terrified of the dentist back then

For those who might be interested in such things, I just had to pop into the local Wal-Mart and stopped to inquire about a Covid booster shot. (Moderna, thankyou for asking.:grin: )

They’re doing them here in the U.S.A. now, and I had mine done on the spot.

They just (Friday I think) opened up boosters for everyone in the US. If you had J&J initially they recommend any booster. Rite-Aid and Safeway are both doing them by appointment here (I didn’t check the other 2 pharmacies).

My wife and I both had mild fever like symptoms about 2-3 days after.

Hopefully my 5G should be working now.
