Quite sadly, I know a hypochondriac who might do something like that one day…

Came across some Indala art:
I could’ve painted that while fully participating in the drink8ng thread…

50 shades of chimpo… coming soon
Have you done anything with it, ie, toss a little metal cowboy hat on there?
Any plans?
I did “mount” a small flashlight with a magnetic clip onto the front of my boxers and made some “choo choo” noises pretending to be a train…
“Just to let you know — we’ve received your order #, and it is now being processed:

If its not enough, you could build a higher power one ![]()

I’ve got some leftover diy electrostim gear already, which would do the trick.
Wanted something portable
Just. You. Wait. ![]()
I love how they give the width in feet, but still give the height in stretched out cats.
Americans actually do use the metric system. The inch is defined as exactly 25.4mm ![]()
But really, if you ever need to build something you might appreciate having the base 12 system reliant on fractions instead of decimals.
A foot is 12” which is easily divisible by 2, 3, 4, 6 and lets you do 1/2 (6 inches), 1/3 (4 inches), 1/4 (3 inches) and 1/6 (2 inches). In metric you are only divisible by 2 and 5. And what doesn’t divide evenly you have fractions which are infinitely precise, marked on your rulers. 3/8, 5/8, 7/8, 11/16, etc.
I once heard that from a PhD student… Which just adds to the evidence that degrees and intelligence are orthogonal…
Decimals are nicer. ![]()
So you would rather use .33333333333 than 1/3?
Repeating!
At least you’re not arguing that fractions can be used to express ratios between different measurements and decimals cannot… That was one of the arguments that the idiot I mentioned made…

And yes 0.3333333 is nice! ![]()
I don’t know what that means. All I said is that fractions have infinite precision and they are marked on US Imperial rulers. I don’t even know what 3/8 is in decimal.
About 9mm.
What’s h
If we want to split that in half, is 4.5mm on a ruler? I have 3/16ths on my imperial one.
