I need to share a struggle bus

I’ve been using a raspberry pi with octoprint to control my 3D printer and what not,

My powerful laptop is right next to my printer, decided I should finally hook it up while I was working on some stuff

The beater light and all day laptop has been my previous go to

Go to log into the IP address like usual, and the nice computer won’t connect

Try all the basic stuff

No joy so I try the diagnostic stuff, ā€œyou computer appears correct, device doesn’t respondā€

Next I try the more advanced stuff Reset the network, reinstall drivers, cmd ipconfigs etc

No joy

Old laptop connects, new laptop won’t

Wife was trying to be a sounding board, so I demonstrated how the old laptop would connect

  • new tab, type in IP address
    …fails

…that’s weird, wait there’s a tab right there that’s…still working??? F5 yep it’s still connected but new tab won’t work… what the actual fuck

Then in front her of watching me, I realized I burned a couple hours, because I was typing 198.168, not 192.168

Fuck me, I would like to change characters please?

Any chance anyone can tell me what i need to do to clone this to my NeXT? I can’t seem to figure out part(s) I need to copy my work badge.

I would guess from the parity OK that is the one you want.

Try lf hgen37 clone and it should tell you what you need to enter probably just lf hgen37 clone -c 547489659 but I haven’t checked.

And remember to read it after you have written it.

Or this \|/

First check to see if it’s a t5577 in your work badge… do lf t5 detect and if it is you can use the dump and restore commands to clone the thing to your NExT

There was still two more lines (of the first verse)… My obsessive behaviour is kicking in…

I once rebooted a multi hospital lab system… Unfortunately I logged in to uxp0022a instead of the other multi hospital lab system uxp0202a.

I copied my work badge using a blue cloner onto an indala(?) card that came with the blue cloner. Figured I saw enough warning about the blue cloner to not use it directly on my hand. my work place keeps the badge overnight since i’m a temp till the 16th.

Heres what the blank looks like when read by the proxmark.

It’s so bad it’s funny, it’s just not funny yet lol

I have on occasion tried to shutdown my work laptop from the terminal only to find I was still ssh’d into a work jumphost. Luckily back then my team didn’t have that kind of sudo access. We do now though…

I thought two more people would step in and complete the verse, but it didn’t happen

It’s opening weekend for deer here. I am headed out.

Good luck to anyone else also.

Moose has been open for a few weeks here. But that’s WAY to much meat for me. I’ve yet to head up to Lapland to try getting a few tetra geese. Not sure I’ll be able to this year.

Good luck

I haven’t hunted in about 8 years, but I used to love going out and watching the Sun come up, seeing a fox hunting mice in the milo stubble, watching hawks circle overhead, and just generally hanging out and being calm in nature. Actually getting a deer was an adrenalin rush unto itself. Yet the two fit together. Kinda miss it, but I’m putting my time into other endeavours lately.

Goodluck. (and now you’ve got me thinking about delicious deer chilli)

Upgrade went easy today

New tattoo
Xg3v1 easily removed
V2 easily installed

Is there a reason you made a new incision withe the xg3 needle instead of just sticking it right into the old pocket? There is probably a reason but idk about this stuff enough to know.

I moved the v2 higher up to about the top of the forearm,

If the v2 proves useful for holding my earbud occasionally like I’d like… it will give me a bit more room to put a second v2 slightly lower than where my v1 was

Also I wasn’t sure if I like the idea of reusing a pocket for a x series or not

Non-newtonian shock absorber fluid… kinda cool

That looks very similar to something I saw people working on at least 6-7 years ago , basically non-Newtonian Impregnated Kevlar…
And some liquid body armour in another one.
both Pretty great ideas

magnet for holding the other earbud sounds really interesting. collarbone area would be cool but idk about migration there.

My v1 would just barely hold an earbud, but wasn’t secure

It’s been 24 hours I might see if I can get any sense of attraction to the v2

Not much still plenty of swelling, I haven’t done a good job of aftercare this time since I wasn’t in much pain… I went to immediately hang out with people afterwards lol

It’s got the attraction of the v1 currently, hopefully that means it will be better once the swelling goes down
