I usually go to CVS too for passport photos. When I was a kid, I went after baseball practice to get photo taken. I wore my digital camo baseball uniform.

Few weeks later we got a notice in mail: Sorry, your photo can’t be used cause you are wearing a uniform of our armed forces. My mom was :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:. Luckily I took another one and got my passport before our trip.

Yeah, my greatest worry is getting a rejection notice.

I just wore a plain black T-shirt, so hopefully I’ll be fine.

This process is a pain in the ass, hopefully I don’t have to try again and I can spend the next 10 years not worrying about it.

Just had my passport renewed in Luxembourg. 50€ and it took 2 weeks to get it :sunglasses: . I was also scared about the photo, they’re very strict with their specifications too. But they accepted it.

Brag about it :sob:  jk

The deed is thankfully done, my appointment was 30 minutes ago. I’ll know within 3 months if I did everything right…

The postal clerk looked through it and didn’t see any issues, hopefully that means I’m fine.

In my country it takes two days or so… Third world problems advantages.

You mean the appointment or printing? Because even in EU the time between issuing and printing takes weeks.

man… i hope this exists… i am looking for a browser extension or whatever that will just… save all media on the page. it doesn’t even need to be streamed shit… just like… static images that are loaded or will be loaded by ajax or dynamic interactions. i just want to click an extension icon and then bloop around on the page a bit and go to a folder with all the assets and from the page in there. At the moment I’m really only interested in static media files like JPGs and PNGs and such… I don’t care about HTML code or CSS or Javascript files.

Most browsers have a download page option, you’ll get those html files and junk you’re not interested in too, but it should come with any media it can grab

You can also try these things on Firefox:

Or, if you’re set on an extension, this one looks like it could work:

Not to be depressing, but has anyone heard from @Backpackingvet?

I got his number before he logged off, but I haven’t been able to get ahold of him

Printing. And the appointment is very straightforward, they even take your picture so it matches their specifications and everything.

ok, getting an appointment is close to impossible in some cities because of covid. Or at least it was.

When I need to do that, I save the entire page and delete the files that I’m not interested in. Firefox and Chrome create a folder with the media, Javascript, CSS, and the rest of the files that the web page needs.

I sent him a DM a few days ago, about a month before that and month before that, I haven’t had a reply to those.

Last time he went quiet I sent him a text, and he replied.

I have just sent him a text.
I’ll let you know if I get a reply

You think that is bad you should hear some of the requirements they had for green card application photos.
