Haha thank you. I think I may have F-ed up putting that video on the net. The attention has gotten out of control. The comments and ignorance is just the worst! Lots of people wanting to come and chop off my limbs to steal my car.

I need some advice on riding the Amtrak train, on the derailment thread!
So Iāve never been on a train (or plane) before. Iām looking at possibly making a 9 hour trek, then staying for 12 hours, just to turn around and come back home. Cost looks super reasonable compared to what the same trip would cost in gas. Soā¦ For the riders amongst us.

Are the coach seat trays usuable if the person in front of you reclines? Itās an overnight trip (10:00pm to 7:30am) and I might take my CPAP. I thought about putting it on the tray, pulling a blanket over my head, and sleeping through it.

Coach = no showers, right? Any workarounds besides wetwipes? Iāll be doing my stop over in St Louis. Any way to snag a shower there without getting a hotel room.

Unfortunately the ignorant and narrow-minded often have issues with knowing when to shut up. Itās a loud minority I suspect. Most people are likely weirded by the idea, but not jaded enough to bash those they donāt agree with.

The fun part is Iāve been deeply involved in aviation, and Iāve built parts for most all planes flying in the western hemisphere of the world. But the only planes Iāve ever been on were parked for displays at airshows.
I might qualify, but after a bit of digging, no showers. Just a nice waiting area and a free bottle of water.

So I was ranting to coworkers and showed them what the correct X-ray should have looked like
