Yep it’s a cap on the glass. You can remove it but you’d need to re-sterilize of course.

hmm that doesn’t inspire confidence if you can just pop it off :-/
considering a below arm pit install, but I’d prefer it to be removable…thoughts

It is removable. Just not SUPER removable.

Yeah it basically does just pop off, but it has more than enough friction to stop the tag from migrating in animals… it won’t just slide out of the cap. It would take a serious impact directly on the site to dislodge it… and only if it was a lucky hit too. Still…
