I like it when a little Tong-y action gets my tip warm.

+1 for both experiences :classic_tongue:

I actually had these experiences with my Apex, so it may not just affect the FlexUG4

YouTube really wants me to pay for premium huh?

PSA: Don’t keep Bourbon within arms reach of your computer station. I started drinking at 9AM today

Been there, done that

Guess I’m lucky that I never enjoyed alcohol and my stomach hates the stuff…

With everything that I’ve been through, I’d probably be asking for the xLiver at this point.

The xLiver, use your phone to control how much alcohol reaches your blood stream!

Or put it into Sick Day mode to get out of work.

Give it a day…or two

That achievement is such a cruel mistress. I hung at 364 days for six months.

I must be strange because I so intently watched my installer do mine. Albeit he was rather new to installs and I had already self installed two so I wanted to guide him. But even when I sliced my arm open I very closely watched them irrigate it and stitch it up ( of course after they realized I wasn’t numbed).

Something just intrigues me about seeing what I got ticking in there.

Boy, that’s pretty fucked up :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Seriously though, its definitely interesting how diverse the community is when handling the install process. Couldn’t have such a solid group of people with out it I guess. Insane people () pushing the boundaries and the whimps empathizing with new comers

About damn time, a kindred spirit

Most people here are mild to severe trypanophobic.

I find it facinating, i watch it from start to finish: the line up, the angle, the needle to skin and the skin pop as it goes in, the insertion of the needle to depth etc.

I thought I was weird…
THEY are weird for hating it and doing it anyway…

Ya’ bunch of beautiful weirdos

Guess this is what this thread is for, right? So we don’t fill up everybody else’s with stuff…

My Apex is in P2, with the edge right before my knuckles start to bend. Installer had to shove it back in 3 times (:twss:) because it kept trying to pop out. Taped it down, and still almost lost it on the drive back from swelling.

So the whole wrist-side bottom half of P1 is wide open. Been playing around with a penny to check size, and there should be tons of space.

But I do have some weird back-of-hand veins… depends on what the installer says too.

 Before I had mine done, I watched a bunch of videos of other people having theirs installed, don’t have a problem with other people’s blood. But yeah, I can’t stand the sight of a needle going into my own self. Still got it done though.

But that’s the future we’re aiming for, right? Pretty soon, just drop your body off at the shop “yeah, gimme two new knees, and that left foot is still acting up. Call me when it’s done” and power down for a nap/recharge.

Ton? That is a measure of Mass (weight) I think the correct technical measurement is “Oodles” of space

You know how alcoholics will justify having a drink anytime of the day by saying

“It’s 5 O’Clock somewhere”

@Hallic Since you live in Aspen, do you guys just say

“It’s always 4:20 in Colorado”
