Dug out some old Wyze V2 cams I had and finally got around to getting setup. Loaded with Dafang firmware: GitHub - EliasKotlyar/Xiaomi-Dafang-Hacks
No cloud, no internet, no subscription needed. Tied into my Homeassistant server so now I get notifications on somebody in the driveway.
Takes a few seconds to trigger. And if I’m home (based on phone GPS, and/or if its connected to home wifi) it also plays over the home audio.

No I’m not showing off, in fact most of the time I don’t even care and just want to finish whatever I’m doing and go home. So it’s probably not even the best effort I’m capable of, fuck off!
Why are some cultures like this!? Why are people like this!? I don’t like to compare myself to others and seriously don’t care.
