The METAR for my local airport says that the weather is FU. That’s one concise way to say it, I guess.

Yes, I know that it means smoke, but it’s not funny once you explain it. Besides the 4 letter word that you thought about is accurate.

Here’s to turning 50.

Birthday is actually tomorrow, but Sep 11th sucks ass now, so I started drinking early.

Just felt like sharing, tired of being alone. Gonna go pass out now, g’nite everybody.

Haps brother.

I turned 40 in March so I’m playing catch-up.

That reminded me of a certain thread…

I did go from Samsung to the iPhone 15 last year, because they finally did USB C charging.

Biggest draw for me was the Apple Watch.

Long ago I had an iPhone 6s and Apple Watch series 2. I left the apple ecosystem because my iPhone battery completely died on me while I was out of town for work. Would only work while plugged in and charging.

I agree that year to year improvements are marginal to not noticeable.

Robux cube?

That sounds like a combination between Fortnite Vbucks and Roblox.

I play neither. That’s just what popped into my head when I heard it.

So Robux is a real thing. I’m sure I’ve heard it before. Didn’t click right off though.

The only changes I’ve noticed lately on the Samsung side of things is that the headphone jack disappeared, along with the heat rate and oxygen saturation sensor, and the iris scanner also got removed.

As far as improvements go, I haven’t noticed any.

Props to the Rubik’s cube for not melting or shattering :mechanical_arm: I imagine these a lab somewhere with a sign that says ā€œwatch out for flying cube bitsā€.

I think I will stick to Pixels. Every time I try another brand it’s a random outcome. Some are amazing, some are bad and it’s hard to tell when choosing.
Pixels seem to be consistently decent.

I used to really like the Asus Zenfones because they made very specialized models but they don’t do that anymore.

I agree. I have had iPhones, Samsung and now onto my 3rd Pixel.

The Pixels are consistently good. I can’t see myself ever going elsewhere now…

Same. I used to be team Samsung but the update delays just pushed me away. Something about instantly getting access to the newest updates makes me feel good

Pixels were not available where I used to live… But my next phone will probably be one.
