Robux cube?

That sounds like a combination between Fortnite Vbucks and Roblox.

I play neither. That’s just what popped into my head when I heard it.

So Robux is a real thing. I’m sure I’ve heard it before. Didn’t click right off though.

The only changes I’ve noticed lately on the Samsung side of things is that the headphone jack disappeared, along with the heat rate and oxygen saturation sensor, and the iris scanner also got removed.

As far as improvements go, I haven’t noticed any.

Props to the Rubik’s cube for not melting or shattering :mechanical_arm: I imagine these a lab somewhere with a sign that says “watch out for flying cube bits”.

I think I will stick to Pixels. Every time I try another brand it’s a random outcome. Some are amazing, some are bad and it’s hard to tell when choosing.
Pixels seem to be consistently decent.

I used to really like the Asus Zenfones because they made very specialized models but they don’t do that anymore.

I agree. I have had iPhones, Samsung and now onto my 3rd Pixel.

The Pixels are consistently good. I can’t see myself ever going elsewhere now

Same. I used to be team Samsung but the update delays just pushed me away. Something about instantly getting access to the newest updates makes me feel good

Pixels were not available where I used to live
But my next phone will probably be one.

Each device to me has/had it’s different pros and cons

I started out, one of my first “smart phones” was the Sony Xperia Play, cause I love Video Games lol.

Then decided to switch to iPhone, because of iMessage. And then stayed with it because of the watch

I just like the square watch design better than the circle. Also having no cell service at my house, I relied on iMessage via Wi-Fi.

Then Wi-Fi Calling became a thing, and I didnt have to rely on iMessage too much. Then I started an internship at my current job, and they used Samsung. Hard to be a System Admin and troubleshoot cellphone issues, if you haven’t used the system much
so I switched to Samsung Galaxy.

That Camera! :star_struck:. Unfortunately now a days, with the current models I know some of the “good shots” are AI enhanced
and while it’s cool I can zoom in and get a full shot of the moon, it’s kinda disappointing to me that its not all “true photo” (I just have a little soft spot for photography lol).

I thought I was going crazy a few months back! I wasn’t feeling the greatest and tried using the O2 sensor
and it wasn’t working. I’m like “I know this model definitely had a sensor in the past!” And as expected, the sensor in my Galaxy Watch didn’t work.
Only “positive” on the Galaxy Watch, is I have the golf edition and get basically a free built in range finder
but other than that battery sucks, and ease of use is so much better on an Apple Watch imo

If Google Messages doesn’t start integrating iMessage to their RCS soon
I might switch back to Apple.

(Or bring back the Microsoft Windows Phone!)

What’s the bug deal about iMessage integration. Rcs is rcs no?

Same era for me, but my first smartphone was a Droid 2.

Fun little fact I found on Wikipedia. The brand name Droid is a trademark of Lucasfilm licensed to Verizon Wireless.

Not 100% sure if it will fix “the issue”, but mostly my entire family still uses iPhones. Sending photos to each other, converts and distorts the quality of the photos. We have to send all photos via Facebook Messenger, so that the quality isn’t impacted.

My family always requests that I take photos using my phone due to the better quality, but in return, I’m sad I can’t see clear photos of my niece when my sister in law sends us group texts.

This is an issue with Iphone, not android. Your family should check a setting within their app to “send photos for all devices” or something along those lines. Or they can send it as an icloud link. Also if they send individual photos rather than multiple photos at once the image shouldnt be as compressed?

Its because Iphone refuses to adopt to the RCS standard and still sends images as sms/mms to non-iphone users, which is a bit out-dated. But i hear they should adopt full RCS by end of year.

Technically fb messenger does massively compress images and video but it uses a pretty good algo to do so
but if you want to retain quality of original images, email is the only way to go.

If you sent a group text to the group’s email addresses, which were received via the recipient’s phones in a text, compressed or not?

If sent via email then no but there are MMS/email gateways operated by some carriers that will compress prior to emailing because I think this compression happens on the phone prior to sending, not in the carrier MMS router. The entire point is to save carriers bandwidth over the air and across the wire
