Each device to me has/had itâs different pros and consâŠ
I started out, one of my first âsmart phonesâ was the Sony Xperia Play, cause I love Video Games lol.
Then decided to switch to iPhone, because of iMessage. And then stayed with it because of the watchâŠ
I just like the square watch design better than the circle. Also having no cell service at my house, I relied on iMessage via Wi-Fi.
Then Wi-Fi Calling became a thing, and I didnt have to rely on iMessage too much. Then I started an internship at my current job, and they used Samsung. Hard to be a System Admin and troubleshoot cellphone issues, if you havenât used the system much⊠so I switched to Samsung Galaxy.
That Camera! . Unfortunately now a days, with the current models I know some of the âgood shotsâ are AI enhanced⊠and while itâs cool I can zoom in and get a full shot of the moon, itâs kinda disappointing to me that its not all âtrue photoâ (I just have a little soft spot for photography lol).
I thought I was going crazy a few months back! I wasnât feeling the greatest and tried using the O2 sensor⊠and it wasnât working. Iâm like âI know this model definitely had a sensor in the past!â And as expected, the sensor in my Galaxy Watch didnât work.
Only âpositiveâ on the Galaxy Watch, is I have the golf edition and get basically a free built in range finder⊠but other than that battery sucks, and ease of use is so much better on an Apple Watch imoâŠ
If Google Messages doesnât start integrating iMessage to their RCS soon⊠I might switch back to Apple.
Not 100% sure if it will fix âthe issueâ, but mostly my entire family still uses iPhones. Sending photos to each other, converts and distorts the quality of the photos. We have to send all photos via Facebook Messenger, so that the quality isnât impacted.
My family always requests that I take photos using my phone due to the better quality, but in return, Iâm sad I canât see clear photos of my niece when my sister in law sends us group texts.
This is an issue with Iphone, not android. Your family should check a setting within their app to âsend photos for all devicesâ or something along those lines. Or they can send it as an icloud link. Also if they send individual photos rather than multiple photos at once the image shouldnt be as compressed?
Its because Iphone refuses to adopt to the RCS standard and still sends images as sms/mms to non-iphone users, which is a bit out-dated. But i hear they should adopt full RCS by end of year.
Technically fb messenger does massively compress images and video but it uses a pretty good algo to do so⊠but if you want to retain quality of original images, email is the only way to go.
If sent via email then no but there are MMS/email gateways operated by some carriers that will compress prior to emailing because I think this compression happens on the phone prior to sending, not in the carrier MMS router. The entire point is to save carriers bandwidth over the air and across the wire
Although, you have a long way to go to catch up to @leumas95
He bought 10 TiTANs in one go.
Iâm not sure how many he ended up installing, but being aware of supply and demand, he may have saved a bunch to price gouge all you hungry little magnetos who would pay any price to get your hands on them, and them in your hands
