Oh! Also, the aged rib eyes from Cinder butte meats are the best steaks I’ve ever had. I always bring some back when i visit.

I lived there during the Trump years.

Well thats just ridiculous

They should be spread out

I own 6,
Only 2 ā€œgoodā€ ones
2 OK ones
2 Junk, but good enough. (I wouldn’t use for AC)

I’ve been meaning to get one (or 2) more like this

or this

I Iike the low profile,
just to throw in the glovebox of a car, and quick grab tool bag.
Just to replace my bulky junky ones, that will probably end up in another glovebox and…Oh, I own 7…I already have another one in my boat.

I have a large Kennedy toolbox next to me. This is all part of my tester drawer. Each one has a purpose

If anyone is looking at multimeters, I can’t say enough good things about the brymen brand. Cheaper and more featureful than a fluke and just about as good quality wise. 10/10 instruments

I’m still judging

What do the first 2 on the left do that the Fluke doesn’t?

Left is pretty fun. its a Tht meter. you plug through-hole components into it and it will tell you both what the component is and what the values are. great for tiny caps and resistors.

second one is just a cheapo multi-meter and i use that when i dont want to take the nice fluke somewhere or i just need to know theres continuity or the power isnt live. its esentially the throwaway meter if i needed it.

I got my fluke on Ebay for 20$ shipped as ā€œnon-workingā€ and it was a 5$ fuse.

Damn, can’t beat that

Sorry, I meant these 2

I’m just making sure, you are as ridiculous as I am…

AHH, red one is a cheapo multi-meter
Yellow one is specifically for measuring tiny tiny capacitive values. I used to use it to grade the SMD capacitors i would get in. thats where i saw how much they varied in printed capacetence. also why i have the tweezers on that one.

I really hope so. Let’s hope the testers come back positive!

Amateurs…
Source: You always need more multimeters!

Joking aside, I have 3 that I really like nearby. The rest of my collection is currently in another country…

Sounds like a plan, but you might end up machining some literal black magic:

Let’s aim to get things done in less than 18 months however.

Stop beating around the bush, you know that I’m actively seeking to convert.

I also found a higher resolution version but it’s going to need some editing. I’ll get around to it once I’m back in front of my computer, doing this on a phone kinda sucks.

I suspect that those flex pcb arrays are likely going to get encapsulated in scar tissue.

It looks like they are using a biocompatible kapton like material for the ā€œboardā€, and biocompatible solder mask.

Anyways, how bad is collagen encapsulation at transmitting the signals?
