Most capacitors can be -20% to +80% of the printed value IIRC. But check the datasheet for the specific ones that youâre using. Higher precision ones are available.
i was buying +/-5% and they were âOkayâ about 60% were actually within that tolerance.

Tangential note, this thread basically doesnât work for me on mobile or desktop any more. Itâs almost like forum threads arenât intended for live conversations between hundreds of people
I love hearing converted Musk stans divert their energies to talking about all the people doing things better. It warms the cockles of my heart.
The precision is a vastly superior solution. I also want to hear more about wearable fNIRS devices, but theyâre all giant helmets for either alt health or video games. Thereâs so many interesting use cases like simple phone controls over bluetooth that could be done with a tiny fNIRS wearable device.
Itâs certainly less scary than to have wires inserted into your brain, it definitely looks like a better solution, and it should be easier to remove without leaving a big hole in your skull. However, Iâm rather skeptical about the long term durability of both solutions for the time being.
Iâve been thinking about looking into this for a while but havenât had the time or resources to dip my toes in.
PSA
If you hate getting AI results, There is a solution
A huge blocklist of manually curated sites (1000+) that contain AI generated content, for the purposes of cleaning image search engines (Google Search, DuckDuckGo, and Bing) with uBlock Origin or uBlacklist.
A hosts file for pihole/adguard is available as well.
Important Read:
Right now, please use uBlacklist instead of uBlock Origin for now.
Needs a little restructuring to fix DOM targeting. You can still try uBlock, but it will probably not work as you expect it to.
But I donât want to block you, @Pilgrimsmaster!
Thanks for the list.
I had been ignoring it
But
Fixed now, Thanks.
Biocom
Biocompatiable
Gor those not aware
BioCom is Hokers âBasicâ NFC reader.
It also does PGP encrypted/decrypt text.
I really like it, infact
And just noticed the app has been removed from the playstore
so here you go
https://apkpure.com/biocom/com.hoker.biocom/downloading
Lol, thatâs sweet of ya. Personally I hate Biocom. I wrote it so long ago:P AM is much much better. Though it obviously doesnât work for non-P71/P60 chips. Is there something about it specifically that youâd like to see ported over? Iâm working on PGP encryption/decryption in AM now.
Yea the biggest issue I have with neuralink was the fact that it replaced a large section of skull⊠I canât quite articulate why, but I didnât like that⊠below or above is fine⊠instead of bother me
I like this approach
Yeah, I guess thatâs my point.
Not everybody has an Apex or FlexSecure.
The PGP encryption/decryption option in BioCom at least gives those people SOMETHING.
Iâm not sure why, Itâs Clean, Its simple, its capable, it just works.
You should be proud.
I think Apex Manager is Amazing, and you have done an awesome job on that one too
You know what? Thatâs a good point. Here when I finish up with a couple other projects, I wouldnât mind making something like Biocom for non-apex devices but more refined. Thanks for the kind words @Pilgrimsmaster . Youâre a real one.
That would be awesome. Iâd love a single go-to app for updating/managing everything. (Especially being able to deploy and update applets to my flexsecure )
You get a flexSecure as well @Jammyjellyfish ?
Yeah, a while back. Havenât done too much with it yet unfortunately. I was super excited to hear you got one, I think the platform could use some love =)
Iâm happy to help with beta testing any new apps!
Got a couple books at Five Below that yâall might like. $5 each!
First one is about robotics, has info about all kinds of different robots throughout the years.
The other one is kinda a âThing Explainerâ type book, with a bunch of detailed diagrams about anything and everything. I love this kind of thing.
They also had a book on AI that I didnât get, mostly because it was less pictures and more words.
Get well soon, Amal!
