Probably the codec… Firefox does this to me but then I try it on a chromium browser like brave and it works fine. What browser are you using

@Pilgrimsmaster I don’t have the scroll bar so no download option
Also no download option in the context menu which has been there in the past.
It must first start to buffer because the download option is presented as a function of the browser’s media player, which is not being displayed until it begins to render.

I used to have issues, but since everything was down for maintenance, videos work perfectly for me

No luck on chrome;( but atleast there is an error and no unlimited buffering

The vid in question was a direct download from Reddit so I would assume h264 but it might be some strange variant of it
Im on LMDE Linux, it might just not support the codec yeah
Dont really have another device around rn but that must be the issue.
Android firefox also didnt wanna play it but that was the firefox issue i think^

Sometimes nothing happens when I try to play them, and sometimes they work.

I’m clumsy with videos in firefox anyway. In my browser that I use for everything but this forum, I hit a keyboard shortcut to either download videos or stream them to mpv in another window. Without that, I end up only half watching these videos half the time half way through, without sound or subtitles, because controlling vids inside a web browser is too much bother. So my experience isn’t necessarily normal.

Sorry I meant the organic encapsulation, scar tissue and all that. Given the xseries tend to pop out I always had that image in my head of the tissue around it being slightly elastic and tight, condom-like but fibrous like collagen
