I don’t like how kinked the end got during install. I guess this is your life now. Knife edge is a known problem area.

I don’t either, but it works so

It wasn’t supposed to be knife edge, I swear! Lmao. It was supposed to be more like P4. Oh well!

Do we know if the implants are under compression once they get encapsulated? Does the encapsulation tend to shrink?

No it doesn’t after the initial set. Outside the working temperature range the flex biopolymer is very mechanically stable, it’s not really plausible for it to be under compression or tension internally like glass or hard resins can be. Because it’s in sheets it is liable to get kinks at steep bend angles though, and it will kind of buckle. Because it’s so strong, the interior of the bend becomes under compression and the exterior of the bend becomes under tension, which helps naturally straighten it out. In the knife edge connective tissue is way stronger than the biopolymer on the side of the PCB with the hole though so if the install was very stressful you’re bound to get kinks.

Uh huh :face_exhaling: I don’t believe in P5, all edge is knife edge

Someone you know is going to ship you a glitterbomb

You are evil AF! And this is not ok

Please, show some respect for Satur9.

Lol it’s fine we know each other. I don’t deserve or desire respect.

Fuckin bring it. You can’t handle the truth. Besides, worst case scenario for a glitter bomb is that I reach levels of fabulous previously thought impossible. Your threats are hollow and your edge is knife

I don’t desire respect either, but I draw the line way before you get to glitter bombs.

Ok then, glitter away you two! Just keep the stuff away from me, it really grinds my gears.

Don’t forget to post some pictures!

When I watch this video about how Bell Labs engineers were using room sized computers to make “bflicks” of the most rudimentary and ridiculous computer animated “movies”
it feels to me like what people in 2077 are going to think of our current fascination over chatGPT and generative AI.

Why are the humans somehow talking less convincingly than the computer 13:30

Because those Bell lab people were pioneers, and Shit Tok “Influencers” are narcissistic pieces of shit

I have stayed away from shit tok (I only see whatever leaks elsewhere on the internet) but I think I get what you mean. Not everyone is eloquent, me first.
They still sound a bit unnatural and I wonder if it has to do with the time this was recorded (culturally vs now) or just the fact it might be scripted and this was like the 10th attempt

Thats totally a part of it,

Quite likely, and film was expensive, plus they are scientists, doing science things, not actors.

I think for me, the main difference is, Bell Labs are contributing to improving the world vs whatever the fuck those fucktard Shit Tok idiots are doing

ie.
Selfless vs Selfish

I went to do it, It shows the App as installed, but because I got the .apk outside if google play, I do not get the option to give it a rating

Which is lucky, because I would have only given it one star :star2: because it’s shit, and I dont like it

Yup that makes I guess. No worries. Do you want a Google Play code to redeem so you actually own it on Google Play even if that’s not where you install it from?
I wish there was a way for people who buy the apk to get the app as well and vice versa.

let’s give that a crack
