I love that!

If there’s a body mod that I want is a bunch of transdermal implants, starting with a metal mohawk but the infection and rejection risk is why I’m not pushing that hard on this front.

I always thought a few facial dermals around the orbital would be cool and then like hotswap some borg esc lasers or a DBZ scouter. Or for more fancy events a monocle

Meanwhile, I’ve been cooking in the 45C south american summer… Send help!

Or just stop telling me that my air conditioner is oversized, it’s not.

Is traveling to see snow worth it? Or should that stuff just die in a fire?

I’ve been trying to get IPv6 to work with my own router… But the best I got out of the ISP provided modem/router/AP thing was a /128.

Why!? I’m either doing something wrong, or I did something wrong by choosing this ISP…

Never thought I’d be getting local weather updates from this forum…

Wear a pair of jeans with shoes and socks. Dump heavily salted muddy water on shoes and first 4 inches of your pants leg. Continue about your day. When you see the white line from the salt on your jeans reapply.

That’s the snow experience without the hypothermia

OR

Go to the top of a snow covered hill, Strap on a plank(s) of wood to your feet, face down hill, enjoy.

Or even find a friend to do it with

I would say, Snow is nice, but you probably just dont want to live there.

Enjoy your 45⁰C heat and humidity problems

See… it starts out awesome but after a short while you want it to die in a fire.

I’m enjoying something incomprensible to the European mind: Air conditioning!

Dumb question for the IT people out there:
I saved a laptop from teh e-waste bin (i was thinking to use it for the laser), and it has some admin password preventing me from booting off USB and preventing me from doing a factory reset/fresh install. Any way around it?
I don’t care of the data, I want to wipe the whole thing clean.

Is it a bios admin password? If so it might be possible to take the battery out, take out the cr2032 backup battery, and short the bios power to wipe it … maybe … if it’s not in eeprom. Depends on your laptop model
