Yeah Cherry switches are the way to go. And you can millmax the sockets so it isn’t one time use

The two mechanical keyboards that I’ve owned have Cherry MX switches in them. The first one had red switches but my current keyboard has browns.

Go with PBT keycaps if you can, they are amazing!

I kinda liked the TKL layout a little better than the 65%, but ROG makes a better feeling keyboard than Corsair. Although I should probably stop giving my uninformed opinions and build myself a proper keyboard…

I hated Brown’s when I first got into the hobby. Then I actually took time to lube them and I liked them a lot more. Holy Pandas were My next favorite. By the time I got really into it I found I anubis’ and that still is my favorite.

Love me some tactiles

I’d never gob to the dark side. The younglings!

Admit it, you’d go full sith lord the second you’re offered the same body that General Grievous has.

Or at least now you know what’s required to make me join the dark side.

I don’t know about this, he’s got a bad cough and weird fleshy eyes
I do like the 4 arms

Negative. I’d prefer IG-88.

When I was wee I read war of the bounty hunters -IG88 and it was an instant favorite.

Has anyone tried the pico on an Iphone?

My GF has a new USB-C iPhone. I’ll try to get the current PICO to work, and (if failiure), try with the one Ham sent.

That’s barely an appetizer here in Aspen. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Cracked PICO did not work, but that means nothing yet. Will update you when Ham’s package comes in

I’m about to blow some city people minds.

I just found my house/shed keys. Last time I saw them was ~ 3 years ago.

So I tried an Intel BE200NGW on a relatively modern AMD system…

Turns out that it’s not compatible because someone fusked up the PCIe implementation somewhere or something. Or maybe it needs the pins that are located where the A key is and some motherboards don’t connect them?

I don’t know, but apparently there’s a compatibility issue between that Intel NIC and newer AMD CPUs.

:emoji_dumpsterfire:

I’ve always been suspicious of the M. bs with thee nvme and mini pci slots… is it M.2 or U.2 or mini pcie

The BE200NGW is an M.2 module with only the E key. And it uses PCIe for WiFi and USB for Bluetooth.

And I tried it in an M.2 slot with an E key that has an older intel AX200 card in it. It should work on paper but it doesn’t…

Intel makes a bunch of CNVio cards that are not compatible with AMD but this one is supposed to follow standards instead of proprietary crap.
