Any updates or plans to replace the xG3 v1 with something similar, or revive it in some improved state? I’m aware of the safety advisory and why it was pulled from the store.

yep

I was hoping for more than that, but I’ll take it :')

I really need to add the :twss: into the emoji retorts…

It’s not a great system, a couple of things you can try that may work for you.

Go to generic search and add in

@username in:personal-direct
eg.

or, scroll to the bottom of your messages and hit the blue text

or
use the advance search

None are great options, let me poke around the back end :twss:
and see if I can find a more simple solution.

Tac0s/Amal/Whoever…

I’m curious, if you had to loosely guess, how many DT xSeries have been sold/installed/etc? If that’s a thing you can say from a company insider info standpoint…

I understand that you can’t give an exact number for installed xSeries as each sold would need some form of ā€œyeah I installed itā€ back from the person who bought it, but loose numbers?

My guess is around 200k at this point… I personally have installed over 6500, almost entirely via events pre-covid

Noted, thanks!

I’ve gotten asked how common they (implants like this) are, so this gives me a… Somewhat accurate way to answer.

Not sure if there’s a better thread to throw this in… just sort of ruling things out

Since Thursday night I’ve had pretty bad hives and painful swelling of hands, ER is now thinking alergy rather than post viral reaction

I have no soreness or tenderness or anything, besides what’s everywhere else

Is there any reason I should be suspicious of an implant?, all but one of mine are x series, so I’m not really worried about that causing an allergic reaction… but I do have a flex… but I know it’s a biocompatible and tested material

Any input?

The odd thing about allergies is that people can be allergic to water… allergic to their own hair even. The immune system can go haywire and even attack itself… so it’s not really possible to say something is not being attacked by the immune system (an allergic reaction).

All I can say is that the materials used have been tested to not cause allergic reaction in most people or animals (the test set).

But you’d expect to see more of a reaction near an implant that’s doing it

Most likely yes, but the body is mysterious

So I normally have a great immune system. Something has ran through my house. Myself and the Wife and two kids are throwing up and peeing out of our ass. Can’t get warm, headache, general lethargy. This is day 3 and it sucks.

Any known allergies? Shellfish, Peanuts etc

None… I’m just trying to make sure I shouldn’t be giving an implant the side eye

Do any hiking?

I haven’t done anything noteworthy the last weeks because I was sick

Do you have dogs or other pets that could have rolled around on something?
