I did a video about it.
The bambu research was done by others. There is a python script you can use with the pm3 which does data decoding. It uses system exit which give warnings but you can safely ignore those.

Hahaha. This came out of discussions I had with folks talking about our website. A lot of people just don’t want to learn the intricacies of contactless stuff let alone delve into something with a CLI. Aaaaaaand, to the best of my knowledge, this is the first time it’s been noticed in 6-months. Pricing needs to be rethought at this point

Hypothetically, if you already have someone’s fobs on hand through this service, and they wanted to purchase a compatible implant, would there be the possibility of pre-programming the implant in the future?

This is something we have done with xEMs by request. There is an up charge (but no formal pricing; i think the last time was +25$).

$25 isn’t bad. Incentive for some to learn, within reach for those who don’t want to or lack access to a Pm3-like device.
