would it be possible to mix it with saline and inject it with a syringe, like a shot?
or would the “beads” travel around?

Don’t inject yourself
there is a huge difference between injecting something and having a tattoo needle basically mince it into your tissue.

If you really wanted to inject for whatever reason, I don’t really see a major logistical or medical problem with injecting dry, like just shoving some into a smaller version of an xSeries injector. Sure it would want to fall out, would be messy, only work for certain designs or dots, and would likely require a bunch of injectors, but it could work(?)

Or you could go halfway between and make a very thick and dry paste using a little bit of needle lube and the powder, just enough to keep the powder from falling out. This sets off some alarms in my head though.

My real question is why would you want to inject? You loose most design options allowed with a blade, and arguably have less control.

Also you want it to be as superficial as possible. You lose a lot of brightness by inserting it under the skin (I believe someone has tried on discord)

It doesn’t stay in suspension very well either.

Is there are reason why it’s being done with scarification instead of tattoo needles? Is it because it doesn’t stay in suspension?

Yes. Also amorphous silica is very abrasive (basically sand) and it destroys the needles very fast. It’s like sanding them down

What about tattooing with out ink, and then rubbing it into the tattoo

Maybe, but I doubt you’d get enough in there
With the scarification you’re pretty much stuffing it with a blood-powder mud and a lot ends up trapped in.

I also wanted an alternative because I’m not a fan of scars but I think you can get a pretty thin one and still have a decent effect. At least that’s what I’m going for

I’m just wondering if you do something heavy and just jam it in. Trying to brain storm something that’s more accessable. In this area scalpel work is hard to find.

Need a new phone. It’s stressing my luddite tendencies pretty hard.

I wanted a Samsung A54, but they’re sold out and may be getting phased out.

The A55 was never available in the US.

The A56 is coming to the US, but only available in Europe and Australia for now.

What I’m considering is buying a A56 International/Euro model (A566E) from a third party seller. (Not a totally shady one.)

What I can figure out so far.
Should be unlocked.
It’s billed as 5g (some 4g references) so it should work with Verizon.

Anything else I need to think about? I’m totally out of my depth with regards to international phone issues.

They got sim card or eSim? The last time I had a Verizon phone was like 2001 and it was CDMA
 no sim cards.

Both. My existing phone is sim, so I anticipate just popping it in.

I can still find them in NZ, (mainly 2nd hand and refurbished) as I was doing some research for you, I found this one in Aussie, but free international postage

And this one

Let me know if you want me to keep looking in NZ

Thanks, but I’ve changed my mind over it being 3 generations old already. I tend to keep my tech a long long time, so newer is important.
